Semi-permanent brows in Brighton: three techniques
I offer semi-permanent brows in Brighton for people who want more shape or definition without drawing their brows each day. I’m Heather, and I’ll help you choose a finish that suits your face and the way you like to look.
I work with one client at a time in a private room at my home in Patcham. If you’re nervous about a result that stays on your face, we’ll take the time to look at the options before I start.
The three techniques

Microblading £320, 1 hour 30 minutes
Microblading creates fine strokes that look like brow hairs. It’s a good place to start if you want a subtle result or have gaps you’d like to fill. Hair strokes tend to heal more clearly on drier skin. On oilier skin, they can heal with a softer, more powdery look.
The first session costs £320 and takes 1 hour 30 minutes. The price includes one perfecting session 4 to 6 weeks later.

Micro-shading £350, 1 hour 30 minutes
Micro-shading combines hair strokes with soft shading. I can place the shading where you need more depth, such as between sparse hairs or towards the tail of a brow. It suits someone who likes the look of hair strokes but wants more definition.
The first session costs £350 and takes 1 hour 30 minutes. The price includes one perfecting session 4 to 6 weeks later.

Powder brows £375, 1 hour 30 minutes
Powder brows, also called ombre brows, have a soft, filled-in look rather than individual hair strokes. I use a machine to build the shading. This can suit you if you usually fill in your brows with make-up or have oilier skin.
The first session costs £375 and takes 1 hour 30 minutes. The price includes one perfecting session 4 to 6 weeks later. My guide to microblading and powder brows explains the differences in more detail.
What every price includes
Each price covers a consultation, brow mapping, numbing, the first treatment and one perfecting session. I map the shape to your face and ask you to check it in the mirror before I begin. You can tell me what you like and what you’d change.
The perfecting session lets me see how the pigment has healed. I can then adjust the shape, colour or density if needed. Skin type and aftercare affect the healed result, and some people need further work beyond the included session.

How it works
First, book a free patch test. New clients need one at least 24 hours before treatment. It takes 10 to 15 minutes. Without a patch test, I can’t carry out the treatment.
At your appointment, we’ll go through the consultation and look at your natural brows. I’ll map the shape, show it to you and make adjustments with you. Then I’ll apply numbing and carry out the treatment. The first session takes 1 hour 30 minutes.
Your brows will change as they heal. The aftercare guide explains what to expect and how to care for them. We’ll meet again for the included perfecting session 4 to 6 weeks after the first appointment.
Who cannot have it
I cannot treat you if you’re under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding. I also cannot treat you if you have uncontrolled diabetes, glaucoma, take blood thinners, or have a skin condition in the brow area.
Other reasons I cannot treat you include haemophilia, a healing disorder, uncontrolled high blood pressure, active skin cancer, radiotherapy or chemotherapy, epilepsy, a pacemaker, major heart problems or a history of keloid scarring. I cannot treat you if you’ve had Botox in the past month. Skin medication such as Accutane or steroids must be paused for two weeks before and after treatment.
If you’re unsure whether any of these apply to you, text me before you book.
Coming in the new year
I’ll add more semi-permanent treatments in the new year.
