Henna brows colour the brow hair and leave a soft stain on the skin beneath it. They suit brows with sparse patches, or anyone who likes a filled-in look without drawing it on each day. Colour can last up to six weeks on the hair and 5 to 10 days on the skin, depending on skin type.

I share treatment photos only with each client's written consent.
What happens at your appointment
I start by asking how you like to wear your brows. You can bring a picture or show me how you usually draw them on. I’ll choose a henna shade with your colouring and the result you want in mind.
Next, I map a shape to your face. You can check it in the mirror before I apply the henna. I build the colour in layers, so we can aim for a softer or bolder finish. While it develops, I wax and tidy the brows.
You’ll have the private treatment room to yourself. If the shape doesn’t look right to you in the mirror, tell me before the colour goes on.
Is it right for you
Henna is useful when you want colour on the skin as well as the hair. The stain can give sparse brows a more filled-in look. It fades naturally, and how long it shows depends on your skin.
If you only want to darken the hair, a regular eyebrow wax and tint may suit you better. If you want the hairs set into a different shape, read about brow lamination.
I can’t carry out henna brows without a patch test. You’ll need one if you’re new to me, even if you’ve had brow colour elsewhere.
Price and what it includes
Henna brows cost £30. That covers our discussion about colour and shape, brow mapping, henna colour, and a brow shape and wax. I also offer a henna tint without the wax for £25. It takes 30 minutes. You can compare treatments on the price list.
| Treatment | Time | Price | Book |
|---|---|---|---|
| Henna brows (includes shape and wax) | 45 minutes | £30 | Book: Henna brows (includes shape and wax) |
| Henna brow tint only | 30 minutes | £25 | Book: Henna brow tint only |
| Lash lift and henna brows | 1 hour 15 minutes | £65 | Book: Lash lift and henna brows |
Before you come
Book your free patch test if you’re a new client. If you’re pregnant, I recommend a new test even if you’ve had one before.
Think about whether you want a faint skin stain or a more defined shape. A picture can help, but you can also tell me in your own words. I’ll show you the mapped shape before the colour goes on.
Aftercare
- Keep the brow area dry for 24 hours.
- Avoid exfoliators around the brows to help the skin stain last.
- If you swim, a thin layer of castor oil helps protect the tint from chlorine.

Questions clients ask
What’s the difference between henna brows and a normal tint?
A normal tint colours the brow hair and lightly stains the skin for about 24 hours. Henna colours both the hair and the skin beneath it, giving a more filled-in look. A normal tint takes around 3 to 5 minutes to develop. Henna develops for 15 minutes, and I apply it in layers to control how soft or bold the result looks.
Will brow henna give my brows an orange-brown tone?
The red tones used in traditional henna are removed from this brow henna. I can choose from ten shades and mix them to find a colour that suits you.
What should I expect at the appointment?
I’ll ask about your brow preferences, choose a colour, then map the shape to your face. You’ll check the shape before I apply the henna. While the colour develops, I’ll wax and tidy your brows.
